At the top of Valhaugen, one of the largest burial mounds in northern Norway, stands Northern Europe's largest marble phallus. The phallus is 89 cm high, carved in white marble. The burial mound it stands on is 5 meters high and with a diameter of around 35 meters. The shape of the tomb indicates that the burial mound is from Roman times or migration times. The phallus is a symbol associated with fertility rituals and the worship of Nerthus / Njord who was the god of fertility, wealth and seafaring. Dønna's fertility exhibition, which is possibly the only one of its kind in the Nordic countries, is located close by.

Entrance to the fertility exhibition is NOK 50 for adults. Free entrance for children under 16 years.
