Guided kayak trips 

Tømmervika Adventure Centre offers guided coastal heritage kayak excursions (1-6 days) in the vast archipelago and out among the outer islands in the Vega Islands World Heritage site. If you and your group would like to learn to kayak, you can take a course in sea kayaking in Tømmervika, and various other locations we visit along the Helgeland Coast during the season. 

Tømmervika also offers kayak rentals and safety gear suited to our climate, and our suggested routes are tailored to your qualifications as well as the latest weather report prior to the start of your trip.

Since 2006, Tømmervika has taken its guests along to various destinations along the Helgeland Coast where we get to know the islanders and their intense stories about the coastal culture, and where we are treated to wonderful hospitality.

Kayaking Courses
Tømmervika Adventure Centre organises various courses in sea kayaking in Tømmervika and along the Helgeland Coast during April through October. As professional, full-time operators and Helgeland’s regional partner with the Norwegian Canoe Association (NPF), issues you a so-called “wet card” certification in sea kayaking upon completion of the course. All our sea kayaking courses adhere to designated wet card levels and NPF standards.

Professional sea kayaking equipment (dry suit and complete gear package) and skilled activity leaders/guides who are all NPF-certified, and who will provide you with knowledge, skills, safety and enjoyable kayaking experiences.

Guided peak hikes on De Syv Søstre and Dønnamannen mountains
A safe, good hike together with one of Tømmervika’s competent local mountain guides all the way to the peak of De Syv Søstre and Dønnamannen mountains is popular. 

Areas for activity packages on sea and land are accessible in Tømmervika and at several of the other locations we visit along the Helgeland Coast, for both private and corporate groups. Tømmervika organises teambuilding, mystery excursions, meeting sites, etc., for one or more days.
